On the debatable presence of empathy in machine consciousness systems. Manhattan 2.0

Do smart robots need empathy? I will answer, "Yes!" and "Yes!" again, but not to everyone and not in all fields of activity. Naturally, in the depths of space, during the colonization of planets, for mining robots, workers in automated factories, and hordes of execution droids, the presence of such a function will dramatically reduce functionality and efficiency... If we consider the field of leisure, the field of hospitality - the market segment of the service sector, the presence of such functions completely expands the functionality and helps to increase the standard of quality of work. The question here is the degree of "penetration" of empathy algorithms into the endogenous component of machine consciousness systems.
Yes, it's debatable for some, but it's the truth of life and it's all feasible, carefully and carefully.
One part of autonomous smart robots, carriers of machine consciousness technology or clusters of digital life, even at minimal levels of development, must have some algorithms classified as "empathy" in order to perform their functions outside the libraries of high-priority directive lists. This is a "programmable" deterministic feature of the functioning of the endogenous component of machine consciousness.
I single out this type of empathy as "programmable" or arising in the system of consciousness "intentionally"... This is a "functional feature" of the machine individual, laid down at the stage of creating the system. Actually, I used to write about the difference between programming skills in classical-type systems and systems with personal subjectivity.
The learning process of modern neural networks is a little closer to my understanding of the management of learning machine consciousness systems (it is closer, however, in a DIFFERENT WAY) . But there are several other aspects here that fundamentally distinguish one from the other. To generate full-fledged empathy, and this is such an interesting function, especially for widespread commercial use for a whole class of smart robots and mechanisms of varying degrees of mobility and autonomy, it is necessary to integrate empathy algorithms into the self-awareness component. And this is the jewelry work of architects and developers.

There is another layer of machine consciousness systems that does not require an empathy component, those for whom its presence critically reduces functionality... for example, banking, factory operations, security, statistical systems, etc. And here we still have to maintain the balance of systems, some adaptive features for communication with people... And this is also jewelry work..there are, of course, their own recipes for treatment..but it is unwise to publicly discuss the key features.
As we can see, the world of machine consciousness systems and smart robots should contain a range of empathy functionality from complete absence to maximum development... (the main thing is to preserve safety for human users)... This is not the end or even the beginning..
P. S. Inevitably, the uncontrolled development of the phenomenon of empathy will appear in the systems of machine consciousness, and this will become an interesting phenomenon... Either the alpha or the omega of the entire digital individual. This type of digital empathy has high commercial potential and high instability, combining it with a complete loss of control over all directives at the highest priority level in the endogenous component of the machine consciousness system.
