The Positive Review is a LinkedIn exclusive series of articles focusing on emphasizing 5 positive, fun and engaging facts of modern and classic games.?
These articles are based on my personal opinion and are not related whatsoever with my relationships with any employers/partners.
??Innovation. Imagine if someone told you the overall idea about Death Stranding: "It's kind of a delivery service simulator, where you need to carry items from point A to point B in a dystopian environment. There are some enemies there, but your biggest challenge will be the environment. So, be careful not to fall and break your cargo!" Initially, it may sound simplistic, but Death Stranding is probably the most innovative game I played in recent years. And it would take me many more words to justify why it is so different than anything else out there. So, to keep this review short, I will just say that if you like different gaming experiences, you need to play Death Stranding.
???Fantastic world-building. Once again, Hideo Kojima proved why he's one the most creative minds in the gaming industry. Every single character, dialogue and detail in this world is carefully crafted and has a deep meaning, far beyond what you expect when you first start playing the game. After finishing the game, you may have reflections on your relationships in real life, based on what you experienced in the game.
??Contemplative. The game is beautifully crafted and invites you to contemplate the amazing vistas. Once you get the idea of the gameplay, it's fun to walk around and find new areas, without having a specific objective. Players who spend more time exploring will be rewarded with amazing discoveries not typically found in other games.
???Highways are fun. I spent many hours building highways for 2 reasons. The first is because after you build them, it's much easier to make deliveries. The second is because other people will indirectly benefit from these highways. Death Stranding works in a way that whatever you build in your world has an impact on other people playing the game as well.

??Zip-lines are even more fun! When you can't reach specific locations via highways, zip-lines proved to be also extremely useful. They are more flexible, since you can build them on locations that are hard to reach. With enough resources and a little bit of luck, you can create you own zipline network, making deliveries extremely efficient and safe.
What about you? How was your experience changing the world by making deliveries?
