Death

As little Cathy was leaning through the balcony while relishing her favourite Cotton Candy on a rainy afternoon, she noticed a group of men with black umbrellas. In the middle of them, a person wrapped in white sheets was being carried away. She had never seen such a sight before. Her mother was cutting vegetables in the kitchen when she curiously asked, “Maa, why these people are carrying a sleeping person?” Startled by this question, she dropped the knife on her feet and got a minor wound. Cathy rushed and brought an ointment to her mother. As she was applying the lotion on her wound, she contemplated, “How do I explain the concept of death and funeral to my little na?ve daughter?”
