Death is the necessary & sufficient condition for Evolution of an intelligent race

A mind-blowing realization:

Death isn't just inevitable—it's essential for the evolution of ideas.

Cultures don't change. People do. Or rather, people die, taking their unchanged views with them. New generations arise, with the evolved perspective & we wait for them to die for the next evolution of ideas.

Toni - thanks for opening my eyes to this concept and explaining it to me

P.S. Dying can sometimes be seen with perspective of a day also - as in we die each day to be born again in the next

Corollary : Every time you change, you die.

... Otherwise, if your old self is not dead, you have not changed.

Of course conditions (change) lead to symptoms (death), but experiencing the symptom (death) is not indicative of attaining the condition (change).
