Death of Journalists in India, and the "Politics" of It.

Gauri Lankesh, a firebrand journalist, a strong critic of extreme religious ideology, was murdered in Banglore, the capital city of Karnataka, with impunity. According to media reports, she was pumped with seven bullets with close range at her home. At present, the investigation is going and a demand for CBI enquiry has been raised by her brother.

But as we are discussing the brutal killing of Lankesh and defeating voices from all corners, especially social media, activists and big media houses.

Let's take a pause and also reflect on the inconsequential deaths of "OTHER" Journalists who died in the line of duty working in small cities but missed all the attention and their deaths too died a slow death.

The New York-based watchdog said in a report stated that it could find only one case in 10 years in India in which a suspect was prosecuted and convicted for killing a journalist, but that the suspect was later released on appeal.

Here is the list of all the Bravehearts who fought and perished and in many cases abandoned by big media houses.
