Death Can't Take Away Dad's Wise Words
Today marks the 12th anniversary of my father's death. To say I miss him immensely would be an understatement, however his words of encouragement will always be engraved in my brain. Dad had a way of positive thinking. The glass was never half full. He always encouraged me to do my best and strive for my wildest goals. I took that to heart and haven't looked back!
I became a Registered Nurse and spent over 20 years of my life caring for people who needed me. Including my first husband who lost his battle to cancer. I've brought the miracle of life into the world and held hands with those who took their last breath. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've had to carry on.
Remembering my Dad's words and an opportunity to further grow my ambitions, I took up ownership in a company that my husband and I created through sweat and tears. Now celebrating our 5th year in business with continued growth, I look back upon my father's words and thank him for his words of wisdom. I think I've made him proud.
