Many things make my heart sing, but the overarching element has to be self-empowerment. This is because self-empowerment is the source of my joy. I run my life holding this notion in view always. Because I know how important this is to my success, I aim to empower others. So I usually ask myself, 'if I were the person speaking to me now, what would I want for myself?' This has made me a good listener and so I often hear what isn't said, or what the speaker skirts around because of embarrassment or some such limitation. This aspect of my character makes me a good team player who is non-judgmental but result-oriented. This also plays a vital role in my ability to nurture and inspire hundreds if not thousands of university students over the past 27 years. I also teach health related best practices to colleagues and their friends. I count doctors among the people who seek help from me.
I do not have a story about how I recovered from some debilitating illness, but I look twenty years younger if not more than my biological age because I know instinctively what I need to be doing to be strong, healthy and beautiful inside and out.
Through my consumer experience, I was inspired to develop elegant, non-toxic, comfortable heels for women with the help of my husband, Christian. We find people who understand our position and philosophy, and who like us are committed to creating a more sustainable, beautiful world to support humans and all other life forms. Our shoes are hand-crafted in Italy by small family owned and run factories. We use natural, vegetal leather that are gentler on the end user, the producers, and the environment. It is important that we reduce our toxic load and so we are always looking to find the best materials to create the best shoe environment for the feet. Think reflexology, the body's meridians and chakras, and detoxing through the feet and then you'll see how important a subject this is. It deserves a lot more consideration because the shoes you wear can affect your health and performance and by extension your business and your bottom line.

Currently, our samples for the next collection of fashionable gladiators, high-heeled knee-high boots, and yes, a variety of flat boots are in production.
