Dear members, and friends of NBAS

Welcome to our April newsletter where you can read about our exciting upcoming events and activities, growth perspectives from our partner EDB, and the Norwegian Seamen's Church which has provided business people and their families a home away from home for 7 decades. Happy reading - and we look forward to seeing you in the near future!

Learning and networking

Our recent calendar has been filled with enriching events geared towards fostering knowledge sharing and networking opportunities. From delving into the entrepreneurial mindset at "Thinking Like a Start-up" to exploring business opportunities and politics in key Southeast Asian countries, and championing sustainable maritime solutions at the Asia Pacific Maritime exhibition, our engagements have been diverse and insightful.

We also hosted our Annual General Meeting, which included a business lunch and a session where Ms. Radhika Rao, Executive Director & Senior Economist at DBS Bank, and Mr. Manu Bhaskaran, Partner at Centennial Asia Advisors Pte Ltd., candidly shared their perspectives on how the current geopolitical and economic climate influences Singapore and the SEA region. Additionally, we were privileged to host a masterclass featuring the Governor of Norges Bank, Ida Wolden Bache.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of our events!
