Dear 17-year-old self...

?Use THIS To Attract 20 - 30 High Ticket Clients This Week To Your Coaching/ Consulting Business
Hey guys,
I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and 7 others who were involved in that fatal helicopter crash.
Isn’t that crazy.
When I heard the news, I thought it was just a rumor.
But then I did a Google search, and damn…
They really did pass away
My heart sunk
Why?
It’s because I’m a fan of greatness.
And in my eyes, Kobe Bryant, the five-time NBA world-champion was one of the greatest basketball players to ever play the game.
I learned soo much from Kobe Bryant over the years that helped me go from failure to success in my coaching/ consulting business.
You see, when I was struggling to attract a consistent flow of clients to my coaching/ consulting business and struggling to make it work, Kobe’s words kept me going until I figured it out.
Words like:
"When you make a choice and say, 'Come hell or high water, I am going to be this,' then you should not be surprised when you are that. It should not be something that is intoxicating or out of character because you have seen this moment for so long that ... when that moment comes, of course, it is here because it has been here the whole time because it has been in my mind the whole time.”
"I want to learn how to become the best basketball player in the world. And if I'm going to learn that, I gotta learn from the best. Kids go to school to be doctors or lawyers, so forth and so on and that's where they study. My place to study is from the best."
These words helped me understand what I needed to do to get the results that I was after inside of my business.
But even more importantly, when I did follow Kobe’s advice and I eventually cracked the code on the formula of how to finally attract a consistent flow of high paying clients and generate a consistent monthly income inside of my business…
...I stumbled upon a letter that Kobe wrote to his 17-year-old self that changed everything for me.
Here’s the letter.

"Dear 17-year-old self,
When your Laker dream comes true tomorrow, you need to figure out a way to invest in the future of your family and friends. This sounds simple, and you may think it’s a no-brainer, but take some time to think on it further.
I said INVEST.
I did not say GIVE.
Let me explain.
Purely giving material things to your siblings and friends may appear to be the right decision. You love them, and they were always there for you growing up, so it’s only right that they should share in your success and all that comes with it. So you buy them a car, a big house, pay all of their bills. You want them to live a beautiful, comfortable life, right?
But the day will come when you realize that as much as you believed you were doing the right thing, you were actually holding them back.
You will come to understand that you were taking care of them because it made YOU feel good, it made YOU happy to see them smiling and without a care in the world — and that was extremely selfish of you. While you were feeling satisfied with yourself, you were slowly eating away at their own dreams and ambitions. You were adding material things to their lives, but subtracting the most precious gifts of all: independence and growth.
Understand that you are about to be the leader of the family, and this involves making tough choices, even if your siblings and friends do not understand them at the time.
Invest in their future, don’t just give.
Use your success, wealth and influence to put them in the best position to realize their own dreams and find their true purpose. Put them through school, set them up with job interviews and help them become leaders in their own right. Hold them to the same level of hard work and dedication that it took for you to get to where you are now, and where you will eventually go.
I’m writing you now so that you can begin this process immediately, and so that you don’t have to deal with the hurt and struggle of weaning them off of the addiction that you facilitated. That addiction only leads to anger, resentment and jealousy from everybody involved, including yourself.
As time goes on, you will see them grow independently and have their own ambitions and their own lives, and your relationship with all of them will be much better as a result.
There’s plenty more I could write to you, but at 17, I know you don’t have the attention span to sit through 2,000 words.
The next time I write to you, I may touch on the challenges of mixing blood with business. The most important advice I can give to you is to make sure your parents remain PARENTS and not managers.
Before you sign that first contract, figure out the right budget for your parents — one that will allow them to live beautifully while also growing your business and setting people up for long-term success. That way, your children’s kids and their kids will be able to invest in their own futures when the time comes.
Your life is about to change, and things are about to come at you very fast. But just let this sink in a bit when you lay down at night after another nine-hour training day.
Trust me, setting things up right from the beginning will avoid a ton of tears and heartache, some of which remains to this day.
Much love,
Kobe

Now there’s a lot of wisdom in this letter.
But here’s the one part that changed the game for me.
"When your Laker dream comes true tomorrow, you need to figure out a way to invest in the future of your family and friends."
When I read this part, here’s what came up for me.
I realized that I've gotten to the point in my coaching & consulting business where I am able to create the success that I’ve wanted for myself.
And as a result, now it’s time for me to give back.
You see...
I see everyone in our coaching and consulting community as my family and friends.
So the question I’ve been asking myself over the past couple of days has been...
"How do I help the coaches, consultants and service providers in our community who are still struggling to attract a consistent and predictable flow of high paying clients to their business?"
In Kobe’s words...
"How do I figure out a way to invest in the future of my followers who are still not getting the results that they’re after inside of their coaching, consulting or service-based businesses?"
As a result here’s what I’ve decided to do.
Over the next few days, I’ve decided to let a select few individuals from our community and give them the opportunity to work with me and my successful students for FREE inside of my $10K per client coaching & mentoring program
Now, this offer is ONLY for individuals who are interested in:
>>> Finally launching a profitable coaching/ consulting or service-based business
>>> Finally begin attracting a consistent and predictable flow of high ticket clients so that you can finally be able to generate a consistent monthly income.
>>> Want to ensure that 2020 will be the year that you finally hit the 6 & 7 figure mark.

4 年The letter to self is something I use with my clients too Extus Justin. In fact, I just volunteered at a transformation even with the fabulous Lisa Marie Platske?and she offers this exercise. And my last appointment yesterday was one such session. I received a beautiful follow-up letter this am. What seems simple at the onset, is actually life altering. The power of our subconscious, commitment to self is powerful neuroscience. Kobe's death and the death of his young daughter has touched many of us. The fragility of life itself is not wasted on me. As a survivor of a plane that crashed and flipped in water, my near death experience awakened a new understanding about our time on this planet. My greatest hope is that were learn not to take life for granted. Make the choices that truly resonate with our purpose and allow our greatness to shine, as Kobe did! Thanks for sharing. #nlp?#nlpcoach?#nlptraining?#lifecoach?Lisa Marie Platske
