?????? ?????????????? ????????????.

??????????????. ??????????????. ????????. I was going to place a traditional post on LinkedIn after receiving this really pretty bracelet in the mail this week that I ordered recently online. The initial reason for my post was going to be that more people should know about Gigibettyco.com for two reasons.

#1 I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail in the packaging.

#2 As an outsider looking in, the story behind founder #NicoleWill 's inspiration to create GigiBettyco.com is a human connection story that all ties back to love and care for human beings.

Have you ever placed an order online with few expectations, if any at all, other than to receive the item that you ordered?

As online ordering has become such commonplace over the last few years and really kicked into gear throughout the pandemic, my expectations around shopping are minimal. I see something, need something, and/or every blue moon when I want something is when I typically go online, complete a search, locate the item, click here and there, and my basic brown box arrives in the next few days. To be honest, there is not really any thrill in it. "You have a package at the front door.", my husband may text me once in awhile as he pulls out of our driveway. "I brought your box in", I may say to my husband when he arrives home from work on those days that I am working from my home office. Not a lot of hoopla!

This package arriving from GigiBettyco.com was different. Now I could be an odd duck, but as a human being, I cannot possibly be the only one out there that starts thinking about things and begins to have conversations with myself. Can I?

My thoughts have led me to believe that a LinkedIn post is not enough. GigiBettyco.com deserves a LinkedIn article. Let me explain.

So this past Wednesday evening I came home late after attending a conference and having been gone for a few days. I turned on the kitchen light, was greeted by my "lovely little lady" friend, as I call her, Penny. Penny is our family cat and I can always count on her to greet me with a big "meow", regardless of time of day or night. My kind husband, as he always does, had taken the mail in earlier in the day and it was piled high on our kitchen table. For unknown reasons to me and for as far back as I can remember, before I can do anything else when arriving home, I feel this need to look through the mail and separate the junk from the bills. It is rare to find anything else in the mail. Junk mail or bills is pretty much it with the exception of the months where the birthday cards and Christmas cards make their way to our kitchen table. Every few years, a refund check for $12.67 or some other odd amount will arrive in the mail due to some settlement or breach related to a purchase I made 5 years ago or more that I cannot even recall. While this minimal refund check makes no difference regarding my finances, I must admit I do get excited about it every time! Hmmm.... maybe it's the detail of the amount.

What stood out in the pile of mail this past week was the bright shiny clean white small package. I looked at the return address and realized it was the bracelet that I had ordered from GigiBettyco.com. Prior to opening the package, I had a passing thought of "oh cool, my bracelet is here." When I opened it is when that thrill of excitement, that thrill of "wow" came back to me. The bracelet itself is high quality all the way around. You can feel the weight of it in a good way. The beads have just the right amount of diverse color in this particular bracelet that I ordered, and the overall look and feel to it resonates detail and quality.

But what really stood out was the attention to detail in the packaging and the obvious care that went into every detail of this offering. From the precise amount of bubble wrap covering with the delicate " Gigi Betty Co" label, to the white sachet with a small amount of detail lace at the top that contained the bracelet, attention to detail was evident. In addition, the package had a handwritten thank you note as well as appealing postcard letting me know that a portion of the proceeds are donated to provide support for family caregivers & respite care.

And so all of this attention to detail had me asking myself over the last few days "What is it that you like so much about this bracelet?"

I like the detail of the packaging, the messaging, and the story behind GigiBettyCo.com. I like the care that went into putting it all together. I like the fact that I know a portion of the proceeds are going to help caregivers. I was thinking of how that particular detail and approach regarding proceeds had much more meaning to me, versus having a person at a cash register asking me if I want to buy Gummy Bears or donate $1 to support "XYZ" as I paid for a package of gum. My answer is typically "no" and really has nothing to do with not having the $1 or money to buy the Gummy Bears, but it's my lack of understanding around the details of the donation in this cash register person example.

When you read the story of what inspired founder #NicoleWill to create GigiBettyco.com, I think you will agree that supporting her company makes perfect sense for all the right reasons. It's about supporting caregivers. It's about caring for others. It's about human connection.

Details are a significant contributing factor to high quality and human connection. High quality and human connection lead to care. In the case of this bracelet purchase, I liked the quality of the bracelet and the packaging. More importantly, it's the meaning behind the company and support for caregivers that led me to the word "Care" as the root of my inner thoughts because that's where my conversation with myself took me. Details lead to quality and connection, which then leads to care. Details matter!

If you haven't already looked at the GigiBettyco.com website, I would encourage you take a glance under the story tab as it is there that you will find the story of this company's beginnings. Its' roots come from a place of deep care for a loved one. While I have nothing to do with GigiBettyCo.com outside of having the privilege to have met and spend time with its founder, I find the story inspiring, genuine, and kind. Why? Because its about caring for one another.

In a world that has become extremely fast paced so much so that "thank you" has become "Thx". "Okay" has become "k", and quite often many of us choose to text versus call people, because calling someone often warrants having to share or listen to more details versus texting, I would encourage readers to take a pause and give some thought to how details matter across the board, but especially in the lives of those providing care for a loved one. Ultimately "care" is universal connectivity. A huge thumbs up to you Nicole Will and all that you are doing to help caregivers. It is in fact YOU that is making a difference! #Caregivers #HomeCare #willGather #SeniCares
