Being socially awkward is a common problem among people of all backgrounds and ages and yet most people hesitate to admit. If you are struggling to make friends or have social insecurities, try learning how to overcome it by avoiding lonely situations. Mingle and attend events it won't hurt starting a conversation with a total stranger who knows, they might turn up being a new friend added to your circle. To boost your self-confidence. always believe:
- You are not boring, unlikeable or weird
- Stop believing that other people are evaluating and judging you in social situations
- Never underestimate yourself or believe you will be rejected or become socially embarrassed when you mingle
Always remember: people are much more tolerant than you think, many people feel as nervous and awkward as you do and they most probably aren't thinking about you. Do not and I repeat do not try being perfect just to be liked by people. Just accept yourself and other people will fall in love with you eventually once you show them your confidence.
