If you truly loved what you were doing - Do you think you would have performance anxiety?
Often our minds are diverted to concept of doing what we love. I love tranquility, I love painting, I love nature so let me paint an idyllic picture in solitude, surrounded by lush green hills. Such a paradisal tale we have a weaved in our mind focused more on the emotion of love rather than the action or process of - painting, walking through hilly trail, citing a image to paint. Here comes unprecedented times of lockdown and we stand disillusioned, fighting those very emotions. I think concept of boredom emanates from this very philosophy of "Doing what you love".
i) am doing nothing because nothing interests me.
ii) For that matter i wonder why "am bored" as a statement is frowned upon.
Does every action have to stimulate our senses, all time? Why not "Just Do It" because it needs to be done!
Accepting to love whatever we do just opens up a whole new world view:
1. Love and joy for doing, without pressures of fulfilling any idyllic picture in mind.
2. No fear of how people perceive - ultimately reasons for your actions need to fit into a larger purpose or goal you are fulfilling and not about pleasing people. When all people are able to view the same picture clearly, it automatically becomes idyllic.
3. No fear of failure - So what if my previous actions didn't bring the desired results, doesn't mean idea or thought is rejected. It just needs different actions to see the light of day.
