Dealing with Office Politics: Lessons from the VIP Movie

Are you fed up with office politics? If you feel that it’s painful, be ready—the universe is preparing you for better things. This is a lesson to learn, and you have the capability to rise above it.

I always relate to a dialogue from the movie VIP. When the hero's construction project faced issues because of his colleague and the villain, he said:

"My parents struggled and paid a donation to get me into school. From LKG, I somehow managed to pass each year without failing until the tenth grade. Then, I chose the toughest group instead of an easier one, thinking I could handle it and become an engineer.

I struggled through the hardest subjects—physics, chemistry, and math—attending different tutors for each one. I roamed the streets to attend tuitions, and my parents paid the fees, often borrowing money.

To pass the public exams, I stayed up all night, drinking tea from flasks, and waking up early in the morning to study. I worked hard to get decent marks, but that didn’t help in the TNPC exams.

The cut-off marks I got were useless. My mother even pawned her jewelry to get me a seat in college. From the first year to the fourth year, I had arrears that I finally cleared in my last year. I graduated, only to find there were no jobs available in this society.

After years of searching for a job, sitting idle at home, getting scolded by my father, and eating food that stuck in my throat from all the frustration, I roamed the streets for three to four years.

Then, finally, one good person offered me a job. Despite all the frustrations, setbacks, and challenges, I stand before you today, having overcome all of it. I am a jobless graduate, but even then, I have pride in who I am."

So if you face a issue with your office , stay cool. Prove who you are when the time comes. Don’t be scared. do your best, god will do the rest...
