DealerBuilt’s 2024 Product Journey & The Road Ahead

As we step into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we made last year and set the stage for what’s ahead. This is the first of a three-part series where I’ll share insights into where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we’re headed this year.

At DealerBuilt, our mission is clear — to create a unified dealer experience that simplifies operations and drives efficiency. 2024 was a milestone year for us, bringing deep feature development and powerful integrations to dealerships nationwide.

Below are a few of the innovations that the team has been working hard on throughout the year that I wanted to call out as they are strategically aligned with our mission.

Major Innovations from 2024

·????? Enterprise Retail Cloud: Lightyear received major UI and service enhancements, with more improvements rolling out in 2025.

·????? Digital Experience: With eSignatures in F&I & Service, document archiving, and scanning, we’ve fully enhanced the digital workflow across our platform.

·????? F&I Menu+: After three years of development, F&I Menu+ now leads in functionality, reporting, and exclusive RouteOne integrations.

·????? iService: We expanded our service lane solutions with Quoting, Online Scheduling, Mobile Check-In, and eSignatures—now fully integrated into Lightyear.

·????? Oplogic: Our all-in-one Variable Ops platform is already #1 in retention and is vying for the top spot in features.

·????? Payments: In partnership with Global Payments, we introduced mobile payments in iService and dealership-wide processing inside Lightyear.

·????? Parts & Vehicle Scanning: A faster, more reliable solution for inventory and audits.

Building on This Momentum

These innovations laid the foundation for a more connected, more intelligent DealerBuilt platform. The focus in 2024 was deep development—enhancing features, refining integrations, and ensuring our solutions provide the best workflows in the industry. But that was just the beginning.
