Vlad Alexe has been deeply involved in the automotive industry for over 13 years. Growing up in a family that owned car dealerships, he was exposed to the business from an early age, giving him a unique perspective on the industry. After completing his education in business management, Vlad formally joined the family business, taking on various roles, from parts sales to operations management. Over the years, he has developed a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and staying ahead of industry trends.

Seizing Opportunities: Introducing the F-150 to Romania

Before becoming a dealer for Hedin US Motor, Vlad's connection with the Ford F-150 was rooted in a deep fascination with its status as the best-selling pickup in the U.S. and its iconic place within the Ford brand. When he discovered that Hedin US Motor had become the official distributor in Europe, it sparked his interest in exploring the possibility of bringing the F-150 to his customers in Romania.

“From my interactions with customers, I've noticed a growing interest in robust, versatile vehicles suitable for both daily commutes and tougher tasks like towing and off-road driving. Many customers appreciate the F-150 for its powerful performance, advanced features, and versatility. They are especially intrigued by its off-road capabilities and its suitability for hobbies like fishing, enduro riding, and more. Partnering with Hedin US Motor was an opportunity we couldn't miss.”

This growing demand for full-size pickups in Romania, combined with Proleasing Motors’s belief that the F-150's strong reputation would resonate with their customers, led to the launch of the Ford F-150 in Romania March 2024. The decision to bring the F-150 to the Romanian market has proven to be absolutely right – the launch kicked off with a bang.?
