We hear you! We know it's harder than ever before to get hands on the samples - for multiple reasons... Thats why we decided to?prolong or submission deadline to January 20th!?That gives you until after the holidays to sign up your products! Currently we are preparing the content production that is going to take place out and about in the mountains at the end of January.
As some of you may notice we updated our sign-up process. We very much hope that makes it easier for you!
We strongly recommend using our new platform?to keep track of your submission. All your documents and submissions are in one place?and you can easily review and update your information and data. All you need to do is sign in with your email address.
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS:
The first form contains?all the detailed information about your products.
--> no worries - we know it's a lot of information! There is a tiny save button, it allows you to continue later on. It generates a link you can either save for yourself or forward it to a teammate!

However if signing in is not an option for you,?there is a workaround... You can access all forms separately and will receive all information via email. Don't forget to hit the save button though...
We are very happy to announce this years winter edition is once again presented by?OUTTRA!?They strive - just as we do - to open new pathways in a time that faces huge changes in retail and marketing. There is a brand new tool available in the OUTTRA ecosystem - the DATA & IMAGE HUB!
Normally?retailers?receive product data & images from each brand in a specific format (Excel, CSV, XML...) and in different ways (CD, download, media database...) which makes the onboarding of new products time consuming. The OUTTRA Data Hub acts as a central platform for retailers and brands to exchange product data & images in an easy way.

We‘re looking forward to receiving your winter product submissions at?www.she-is-outdoors.com. An expert jury of renowned outdoor and product specialists, will divide the submitted products into seven categories, test and evaluate them. In addition to just signing up for the award, we offer optional PR and marketing packages to provide a comprehensive and creative presentation of the products in photos, video and text for the target group of women.

Award ceremony:?February 2023
Which products can be signed up??The Award is open for this years and next years products. 'Next years products' means: products that are not commercially available until after the award ceremony by the end of February, 2023. I.e. for the WOMEN’S GEAR AWARD winter 23 you can submit products of the season winter 22/23 and winter 23/24
Awards:?The jury will select the best products in each category. There will be one GOLD WINNER and up to two WINNERS in each category. Our jury will award the most outstanding women‘s outdoor product as the OVERALL WINNER and the most sustainable product as the SUSTAINABILITY WINNER.?
Fees:?We accept multiple entries, meaning a brand can submit more than one product in one or more categories. The entry fee per product varies depending on how many products are submitted by the same brand / agency. Please note that full participation fees are due per application.
1 product - 700 € per product
2 products - 650 € per product
≥ 3 products - 600 € per product
Who can apply for the award? All brands that produce innovative, advanced, highly functional - and simply awesome - outdoor gear for women. We can‘t wait for your application.
What are the judging criteria and categories? All products will be divided into different categories: Outdoor Professionals and Expedition, Camping, Hardware, Footwear, Apparel, Snowsports and Urban Outdoor. The jury will judge the products according to the following criteria:?functionality, processing quality, material selection, sustainability, innovation, purpose / target group and design.?A Pro Shell jacket, for example, could compete in both Apparel or Outdoor Professionals and Expedition - this of course affects the judging criteria, in this case area of purpose / target group. If necessary, the jury can decide to move the product to another category.?
When does the award take place? The application period starts in November 2022 and is open until January 20th. Winners will be awarded during a live streamed event in February 2023.

What are the benefits for the brands? The focus on women as a target group has been around for a while now, but this is a completely new and different approach. You will benefit from the feedback of our expert jury and the wide range of media we create for your brand. Be a part of this movement!
