Browsing through a streaming service can be funny at times. We click on a newly released show, expecting one thing, only to discover it's completely different from what we anticipated.
I began watching season one of Not Dead Yet a few days after its release. I was skeptical at first, assuming it was just another typical ghost story. Boy, was I wrong! I watched all 13 episodes in a single day and ended up binge-watching them multiple times over the next few days. The pacing was good, the characters were even better, and the punchlines were simply the best!
Season one showed a lot of promise, and to my delight, it was renewed for a second season. I was eagerly anticipating diving back into the world of my favorite characters: Nell, the obit writer, along with Sam, Dennis, Edward, Cricket, and ahh-noyingly funny Lexi.

The premise for the second season remains unchanged: Nell is still a struggling journalist
While season one was enjoyable, season two just doesn’t measure up. It feels forced, especially the situation-ship between Edward and Lexi, and the punchlines don’t land as they used to. The three episodes I watched lacked direction; they felt more like fillers than meaningful contributions
