Romans 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

Have you ever heard the term 'dead to the world'? That may not be such a bad thing. When we believe and give ourselves over to Jesus, our old self is dead and a new life begins. When we are reborn in Jesus, our hopes, goals, and dreams become more outwardly focused verses inward. We seek to serve verses being served. How would the world change if we all looked on how to advance others instead of ourselves? Instead of giving into our own sinful, selfish desires we would look to helping others avoid pitfalls and seek growth while doing the same for ourselves. We would definitely look different than the world, but I don't think that is such a bad thing. Be dead to the world, reborn in Jesus, and have a blessed day!
