DEA ADJUSTMENT FOR QUOTA
If you haven't gone to the DEA Diversion website, under the "What's New" tab is the "Proposed Adjustments to the Aggregate Quota for Schedules I and II..". If you are a manufacturer of Schedules I or II, DEA has or will cut the quantity you request for some controlled substances. For Example, Hydrocodone was cut by 6 million dosage units, Oxycodone by 10 million dosage units, and Hydromorphone by 6 million dosage units.
What does this mean to you? Some of you are going to have Quota requests cut or denied by DEA Diversion. They will be closely monitoring your Quota request and the information you list for the justifications. Worthwhile reading the Federal Register noted on the article.
