De los leídos, particularmente me quedo con START WITH WHY de Simon Sinek, me parece brillante por su simplicidad y excelencia en la argumentación. Empiezo nueva andadura con la agencia BCC Conferenciantes ,que le representa en ESPA?A, y confío poder conocerlo en un futuro próximo. Aunque para el que no quiera leerlo puede escuchar su extraordinaria conferencia TED https://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action/up-next
Y tiene un claro resumen del libro. Llegué al libro por esta conferencia pues cuando la escuché por primera vez pensé “explica de manera magistral lo que llevo diciendo a?os pero nunca se me ocurrió explicarlo tan brillantemente”. Desde entonces lo cito muuucho y recomiendo esta conferencia y su libro a todo el que me quiere escuchar.
Lo dicho, mil gracias por tu lista, algunos están en mi lista de futuras lecturas, el n° 1 tuyo lo paso ya a la lista.
José, al que le encanta esta frase de aquí arriba, no puede quitarse mérito ya que además de esa disertación gloriosa me envió esta nota (tras haberle dicho que ya había leído 2 libros en 2 días del 2018 porque me inspiró su verano en el que nos puso en redes la fecha en que completaba la lectura de cada libro) que es para que veas si digo la verdad o no

Asi que bueno cuando lei esto me di 3 pep-talks y me dije
1 No solo poner fecha de comienzo y fecha de finalizacion del libro
2 Pre-escribir en Word (y no manualmente como hacia antes) las páginas a leer al día siguiente
3. Esto sí: ya no leer ni un solo libro del que no puedas obtener el PDF por Internet que pueda ser legible es decir que según lees puedes tomar notas para mis conferencias y más actividades de Leadership
En resumen que parafraseando a Peter Drucker en la imagen de cabecera de este artículo, el sabio consejo de José Ballesteros de la Puerta me daba la oportunidad de convertir el problema de estar leyendo libros en papel, sin fecha de comienzo ni de finalización y sin número de páginas leídas al día y con menos posibilidades de tomar notas, en la excelencia de hacerlo maravillosamente bien y crecer prácticamente al minuto.

Para cada uno de estos libros tengo en mi Master Mind Leadership Landscape Table entre 1 y 6 párrafos de ideas clave y luego para cada libro entre 6 y 21 páginas de notas que es solo tener abierto el PDF ponerlo al máximo de visibilididad (entre 175 y 300%) y no perder el tiempo ir clickeando hacia abajo y con el cursor seleccionando párrafos. Solo me entró un poquito de duda cuando leí el consejo de José pero no tuve ninguna duda de que funcionaría porque si ves el primero
es un tocho de mas de 260 páginas y sobre las 20 horas del día 1 de Enero estaba como todos cansado, champagneado, no sabiendo que hacer pero como ya el Sábado y Domingo había leído un poco de 20 a 23.30 horas leí leí leí y me complete todo el libro
Luego ya los siguientes fue mucho mas fácil porque por ejemplo Robin Sharma se refiere a James Allen y yo tenía as a Man Thinketh y no lo había leído; se lee fácil. Pero es que haciendo research me encontré que hay un mastodonte PDF por Internet que resume TODOS LOS LIBROS DE JAMES ALLEN en más de 500 páginas. Lo guardé. Y como puedes ver (lista arriba más aquí debajo del que acabo de leer) es tan maravilloso que es una inversión rentable.
Te comparto aquí maravillas del libro número 17 para que veas que aplica al hoy en día aunque lo escribió en 1914 o algo así
17 Foundation Stones for Happiness and Success de James Allen Leído el 27 de Enero 2018 en 90 minutos
Este libro es un must read para alguien que quiera entender que estando bien organizado, siendo un buen time manager y siendo metódico se logra todo. Comienza con los 5 principos que son DUTY HONESTY ECONOMY LIBERALITY Y SELF-CONTROL siendo este algo que ya lo aprendí de Robert Kiyosaki en su momento. Y a partir de ahí Allen lo borda con estas maravillas
Right principles are manifested in harmonious action, and method is to life what law is to the universe. Everywhere in the universe there is the harmonious adjustment of parts, and it is this symmetry and harmony that reveals a cosmos, as distinguished from chaos.
So in human life, the difference between a true life and a false, between one purposeful and effective and one purposeless and weak, is one of method. The false life is an incoherent jumble of thoughts, passions, and actions; the true life is an orderly adjustment of all its parts. It is all the difference between a mass of lumber and a smoothly working efficient machine.
A piece of machinery in perfect working order is not only a useful, but an admirable and attractive thing; but when its parts are all out of gear, and refuse to be readjusted, its usefulness and attractiveness are gone, and it is thrown on the scrap-heap. Likewise a life perfectly adjusted in all its parts so as to achieve the highest point of efficiency, is not only a powerful, but an excellent and beautiful thing; whereas a life confused, inconsistent, discordant, is a deplorable exhibition of wasted energy
The good businessman knows that system is three parts of success, and that disorder means failure. The wise man knows that disciplined, methodical living is three parts of happiness, and that looseness means misery.
But this is the end; and he who would reach the end must begin at the beginning. He must systematise and render logical and smooth the smallest details of his life, proceeding step by step towards the finished accomplishment. But each step will yield its own particular measure of strength and gladness
To be equally-minded is to be peacefully-minded, for a man cannot be said to have arrived at peace who allows his mind to be disturbed and thrown off the balance by occurrences.
The equal-minded man watches himself in order to check and overcome even the appearance of passion and prejudice in his mind, and by so doing he develops sympathy for others, and comes to understand their position and particular state of mind; and as he comes to understand others, he perceives the folly of condemning them and opposing himself to them.
Y como todo libro de leadership hace bueno este principio de Peter Drucker
asi que en la sección número 6. Good results James Allen nos obnubila con estas maravillas
A considerable portion of the happenings of life comes to us without any direct choosing on our part, and such happenings are generally regarded as having no relation to our will or character, but as appearing fortuitously; as occurring without a cause. Thus one is spoken of as being ―lucky,‖ and another ―unlucky,‖ the inference being that each has received something which he never earned, never caused. Deeper thought, and a clearer insight into life convinces us, however, that nothing happens without a cause, and that cause and effect are always related in perfect adjustment and harmony. In a word, involuntary happenings of life are the results of our own thoughts and deeds. This, I admit, is not apparent on the surface; but what fundamental law, even in the physical universe, is so apparent?
Alter the inner world of thoughts, and the other world of events will cease to bring you sorrow; make the heart pure, and to you all things will be pure, all occurrences happy and in true order.
Each life is a perfectly woven network of causes and effects, of efforts (or lack of efforts) and results, and good results can only be reached by initiating good efforts, good causes. The doer of true actions, who pursues sound methods, grounded on right principles will not need to strive and struggle for good results; they will be there as the effects of his righteous rule of life. He will reap the fruit of his own actions and the reaping will be in gladness and peace. This truth of sowing and reaping in the moral sphere is a simple one, yet men are slow to understand and accept it
The children of light - those who are searching for the fundamental principles of right living, with a view to making themselves into wise and happy beings – must train themselves to observe this law of cause and effect in thought, word and deed, as implicitly and obediently as the gardener obeys the law of sowing and reaping. He does not even question the law; he recognises and obeys it. When the wisdom which he instinctively practices in his garden, is practiced by men in the garden of their minds – when the law of the sowing of deeds is so fully recognised that it can no longer be doubted or questioned – then it will be just as faithfully followed by the sowing of those actions which will bring about a reaping of happiness and well-being for all.
