DDS Middleware-Compact Footprint

Systems Engineer-Engineering Services-DDS Middleware Helping Systems Engineering Projects Get Over The Line Since 2005
This is some very interesting software technology we have been working with recently in the context of mobile vehicles. We have been integrating a DDS (Data Distribution Service) into Linux OS embedded controllers as a way of consolidating all machine subsystem communications. The challenge has been to find something with a very small code foot print for our application.
We have been working with CAN as the default subsystem mobile communications method for nearly 20 years. Complex mobile machines now seem to demand an increasing number of networks and CANBUS subsystem integration is getting to be a larger part of machine development. We envisage this software technology to start being applied in situations where there is a requirement for Common Data Architecture across all vehicle networks.
It would be interesting to catch the thoughts of anyone looking at this. Get in touch or call us. [email protected] T: + 44 77177 90404
