Overview:

• Skills for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Mainframe MQ Systems.
• Skills to perform MQ Admin tasks supporting Application Changes from MQ point of view.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position with equivalent responsibility, and desirable up to 10000 hours performing different Mainframe Technical positions.??????????????
• Good Knowledge of MQ system architecture and of MQ related SW (admin tools, monitors, explorer, etc.).

Process Manager is the same as Operations manager. “System administrator” is the same profile as “Application administrator”.

DBDC includes:- DB2, MQ OR CICS

Probed Experience and Skills to perform next one detailed task:???????????????????????????

• Installation / configuration MQ DC Instances:
• Installation and configuration of MQ instance.
• Setting up of backups for system files of the MQ instance.
• Integration of the MQ instance into the system monitoring.
• Integration of the MQ instance into the z/OS system automation.
• Integration of the MQ instance into the standard reporting.
• Setting up the MQ basic system security (DC-internal/-external (e.g.: RACF, TSS))
• Maintain, develop Methods and Tools for Operations.
• Support to maintain the Administration of MA Basis Security.
• MQ System Administration(Creation, Update, deletion System Objects in MQ instances: PAGE SETS, Buffer POOLs, LOGs Data Sets, MQ Channels, IP environment, , Groups, Conn definitions, interfaces with other DBDC subsystems, others ).
• MQ System Programming, configuration of MQ Parameters.
• Operate and administrate MQ Channels.
• Support for MQ and related MQ SW Procurement.
• Path Management, development migration Concepts, Version and Release Upgrades.
• Prevention and Tuning (maintenance, system tuning, manage 3rd Level Support).
• Support development of System Automation and Monitoring procedures.
• Support administration and execution of the Standard Reporting.
• Ensuring Data Consistency of All MQ System Files .
• Execution of backup of all System Data.?????????????????????????????????????????
• Troubleshooting.
• Incident, Problem, Change Management.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
• Audit issues remediation.????
• Documentation (system and operating documentation) for MQ Systems.
• MQ Archive LOGs, administrate archive LOGs.
• Implementation High Availability MQ solution based in Queue Sharing Group.

Additional requirements:

• Office Hours Shift.
• Availability to support On Call of Duty Shifts
• Availability to support activities out of office hours.
