We hear national housing stats on the news frequently but what about our town, the Dayton area? Home sales for the first month of 2025 were down compared to Jan of 2024.?More than expected, 15% down.?New listings also down from Jan of 24, down 5.58 percent.? Which resulted in total dollar volume down almost 11%. ? The bright spot, average and median sale prices went up. 4.73% and 10% respectively. Total inventory (homes for sale) stood at 1745 by month’s end.?Leaving us with 2.3 month’s supply of homes, creeping up from prior months.??
