Daycos Curated Art Collection

"The fiction of painting provides opportunity for surprise and magic." - Merrill Peterson

At Daycos, we believe that the joy of experiencing beautiful works of art should be an everyday experience.

We have spent several years collecting various pieces to elevate the environment of our office in Norfolk, Nebraska, while also fostering and championing the local art community.

You may be asking why we felt the desire to invest in art. Not only does art play a crucial role in human culture and society, but it serves as a powerful medium for expression. Through their work, creators can convey emotions, ideas, and experiences.

Art has therapeutic benefits for those who engage with it, providing emotional healing and mental health support. Artwork creates a sense of community, and that is what we're all about.

The story of our collection's inception is as unique as the pieces it holds. It all began with a pen-and-ink montage commissioned by the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce in 1992 and later sold as a fundraiser to our founders, John and Connie Day.

A Portrait of Norfolk by Bruce Loeschen

Today, this whimsical piece depicting our hometown of Norfolk hangs in our Daycos Curated Collection, along with dozens of other works by local and Midwestern artists.

As our gallery grows, we'd like to invite you to tour our virtual collection. Our new landing page showcases the art and has information on each artist and their story.
