My body is still shivering,
My eyes are still crying,
My heart is still beating,
My face is still smiling,
My voice is still screaming.
Somebody please pinch me,
Somebody please hit me,
Am I dreaming?
Am I unconscious?
Should I be serious?
Should I be normal?
No, a big no,
How can I be normal?
The reason is The King,
The Virat Kohli himself,
Who gave me a small happiness
When I was in pain.
Finally, the 71st is here after a long wait of 1021 days. Yes, I am talking about The comeback of King Kohli. The wait is finally over now, the whole internet flooded with his innings, this comeback inning. What an inning it was, and what a day for us to witness such a generational inning that not only I but the entire world was waiting for.
Okay, I never write a blog on a posting day, but it is September 8, 2022. I definitely should start something because my Virat, my beloved, scored his 71st ton today. I just want to give him bhukkiyon on his cheeks, on his forehead. Haha, I can't control how happy I am today. When your life is going freaking stressful, news like this gives you a small moment of happiness. I am super, super happy today. I was a little disturbed since last night, stressed and tense, but he gave me happiness. I want to write so many things, but I can't. My hand is a little fractured, I guess.

Three long years of waiting, three long years of praying, three long years of "Virat, kaddi banni 71st." Finally, the day is here when the king himself scored a century, the 71st century. The 71st is not just a number in the cricket world. We waited for this moment for three long years. I want to celebrate this, but I'm living alone, so I don't have any idea with whom I should celebrate. But at that moment, I screamed loud without fearing anyone. I was like, my jhaplu scored a century; I should celebrate this with my inner soul, with the non-living things in my room. I celebrated this inning with my almirah, with the money plant in my room, with the colorful card given by my friends in my room. I celebrated this inning with my books and with myself.
It was 8:56, watching the match on hotspot, and he hit that six. I was like, "F***, century 71st, yeah, woooohhhhhhhhhhh, f***, century ban gayi, wooohhh." I danced alone in my room, singing "balle balle, oh sawaaa." I don't know why, but I was doing buraaaahh kind of things at that moment.
I started getting calls; my RPG neighbor called me and said, "Oye nikku oye, ajj ta vaddhia khela tera jahplu." I was like, "Haan haan, I know this." As he completed his century, I posted a status, and one of my friends was like, "I was waiting for your status." I got lots of messages on WhatsApp like "happy for you, and finally, tu khush hui." Some messages were like, "So what if he scored against Afghanistan, it's the same as Babar scoring against Zimbabwe." I said, "F*** off." Hahahah.
At this moment in my life, I was missing my dada ji so badly. He always praised Virat. He used to criticize him in front of me but would say, "This player will go a long way." We celebrated together until his 50th century. Then one day, Dada ji passed away. I'm badly missing Dada. Love you, Dadu. Miss you so much.
A century is something everyone can make, but the 71st was special because we had been waiting for it for a long time, and everyone was waiting. Even one day after the India vs. Pakistan first match, I told someone that he is going to score a century. He said, "In this Asia Cup?" And I was like, "Not sure, but if he does, what's wrong with that?"
Man, I just want to scream extra loud for this day. I waited a lot for this day. I tweeted daily on Twitter, "Kaddo banni 71st," and finally, it's here. Lots of friends congratulated me as well. It felt a bit personal, like I made that century. Hahah, my jahaplu baby, muuahhh. I wish he were with me; I would give him lots of hugs.
Wait, he's the king. It doesn't matter against whom he scored; he scored a century, and that's it.
Dubai Stadium, September 8, will be remembered for King Kohli's comeback inning. The whole world, the cricketing world, politicians—everyone is a fan of him. Even Pakistani players congratulated him; that's the interesting spirit of cricket.
What I was doing—
After he scored a century, I was checking the hotspot connection, which I borrowed from someone. I was like, "Did it log out?" But yeah, thanks to him for giving me this authority. I was a little upset from yesterday; the whole day I was tired and stressed, but he gave me happiness. Some immense pleasure, criccasm kind of thing. I was supposed to post another blog about the India-Pakistan match rivalry, but King scored a century, so how could I stop myself from writing about my jhaplu baby?
People who were trolling him are now praising him, and I am so proud of him. He is a generational player and everyone's favorite. He dedicated his century to Anushka. Okay, I felt a little sad hearing that, but it's alright.
And I just want to thank the Afghanistan team for performing poorly here, hahah. Just want to thank Babar Azam, who said, "This too shall pass, stay strong" to Virat, and transferred his form to Kohli. Hahah, I am just kidding; he is also a fantastic player. I want to write so many things, but it's late now, and my health isn't great. I can't stay up too late. I will write in another blog. Thanks for reading my blogs every day. I love you guys. Bhukki bhukki.
