The day, the quarter, the beginning

In the last quarter of the year we all look to create a rush of activity to close out the year. I on the other hand look to create sustainable activity that will last the entire season, and the next one after that. Each calendar day is another day, it may be marked by others as a milestone, a determined time frame, a time allotment, a day that will live in infamy, a day that cannot be recovered, and on it goes. But I chose to look at the opportunity of each day as a precious gift that is only for that day, only for that instance and it is up to us to leverage, excite and engage that day for the opportunity that it presents.
Now, do I get right every day, no I do not, and it seems that I miss the mark more than hit it. I will keep shooting and keep waking every day to strive to be better, to help more, to engage more and to look opportunity in the eye more. It is in the adventure of life that we add and get value, not in the resistance and sedentary acts, not the anger but the joy, not the doubt but the faith that we find our life.
I wish the best on all life, mankind and animal kind. I wish the blessing and favor of my Lord and yours as well, on all things. For it is in that we blessing we find blessing and faith. We are in time that is replete with strife and division, chose faith, honor, acceptance, love, kindness, trust, belief and compassion.
