A day at our customers’ service
On the field, at the drawing desk or in workshops. Every day, on every continent, Sweco’s consultant engineers and architects bring expertise and commitment to take on our customers’ challenges, goals, and plan and design the cities and communities of the future.
This spring, Sweco Sweden held a photo contest, #endagp?sweco, to present glimpses of the diversity that is such a big part of this job. Big congratulations to Siri Axelson for the winning photo above. Together with the colleague Tove Jomer, they’re just about to take sediment samples in Motala str?m for the environmental study that Sweco provides for the Inner harbor development project in Norrk?ping in eastern Sweden.
The jury must have had a hard time choosing the winner. Above is a collection of contributions, from top-left:
Gustav Holmquist during an assignment in Libya to assess the status on a power grid connecting an oil field.
Elin Julin, landscape architect, and Martin Svensson, lighting designer, on site at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasj?rvi.
Building constructor Robert Edman takes his morning coffee on the roof-top terrace at Sweco’s headquarter in Stockholm.

Signalling engineer Peter Eriksson took this photo while the last train left Korstr?sk operation site, some 60 miles below the arctic circle, before starting the night’s work.
At Fiskeby operation site one hazy morning outside Norrk?ping. Hampus Bogren took this photo of Tim Zetterberg while making measurements.
Structural engineer Elizaveta Pronina makes a study visit together with colleagues somewhere below ground in Stockholm at the City line rail tunnel project.
