Nothing Matters From Yesterday
When you look at Yesterday it’s full of excuses as to why you did or didn’t not?
Each Morning We Decide whether we bring the excuse today.
Each day the aim isn’t to remove all excuses, it is to reduce the time they take effect.
2. Change the Story you tell yourself (Skip this if you Hate the FLUFF)
A Month ago, I was struggling to start exercising again. It’s been an on and off battle with holidays, works and just genuine motivation. Until after a month I rode my bike for 30min then 3-4 days off, then brought my self to do another 1-2 Days. It was tough to justify getting back on that bike. It wasn’t what I wanted to be doing…This was the pattern.
A week ago, I said F#%k It, and just ran for 4k, then took a day off. Then a day off, then a ride took 30mins to bring myself to do a 30min ride…The run took me 25 mins…ride another 25min.
This Morning I tried to Self snooze an finally fought it off after 10 mins…to run for 40min…
What am I trying to say, don’t go out thinking a new behaviour is just going to happen. You aren’t perfect and neither are behaviour. Work on the amount of excuse time until it down to a 2nd, then repeat each day, Day One, Week One, Everyday?
3. The Question?
What Excuse are you currently using to put off an important habit?
What Wastes You the most dead time?
How Can I Cut it by 10%?
