The Day My Cat Became a Techie...

Dear Readers,

It all started when Midnight, my ever-curious black cat, decided my laptop was her new throne. She’d lounge on it like a queen surveying her kingdom, often pressing keys in her quest for the perfect nap spot. One day, she did more than just type gibberish she sent an email.

I discovered this when I got a reply from my boss:

"Jacob, 'jacorrreowwwwxyz' is an interesting take on the quarterly report. Could you clarify?"

Panic set in. Midnight had not only sent an email but had somehow attached a photo of Snowy, my white cat, in what appeared to be a compromising position with a bowl of spaghetti.

Desperate to fix this, I opened my laptop to assess the damage. Midnight sat beside me, purring smugly as though she had just solved world hunger. Snowy, meanwhile, looked mortified, avoiding eye contact.

But it didn’t end there. Midnight, in her newfound role as a techie enthusiast, discovered keyboard shortcuts I didn’t even know existed. She opened programs, changed my screen brightness, and somehow turned my cursor into a giant smiley face.

The final straw came when I received an alert from Amazon: "Your catnip subscription has been renewed." Midnight had literally ordered catnip.

Snowy, seeing this chaos unfold, gave me a look that screamed, “This is why I nap under the couch.”

In the end, I had to explain to my boss that my cat was exploring her career as a techie influencer. He laughed so hard that he made “Midnight” an honorary member of the IT department.

Now, Midnight supervises all my Zoom meetings. She’s even become a bit of a celebrity. People log on just to see her though I suspect they’re worried she’ll start typing on their keyboards next.

Just a word of caution, my dear readers not all emails won’t be sent my me!!! Hehe Hehe.
