A day in Francesco's shoes
6:00 am: Every morning, I wake up early to get an early start on the day, and checking the news is the first thing I do, it's essential for me to stay informed about current events worldwide.
7:00 am: I start by preparing a healthy breakfast some scrambled eggs and Italian expresso, I pay close attention to my diet. After that, I quickly check my emails and agenda to organize my day accordingly before getting dressed, and around 8 am I make my way to work.
9:00 am: Once I reach the office, I sit down at my desk, pour myself a cup of coffee, and begin my work. I check emails and respond to any urgent client requests, It's always stressful to discover client returns about the ongoing project. From there, I will review any new design requests from clients and begin the process of drafting out the designs with the team.
10:00 am: I take another cup of coffee to regenerate the energy and I will then turn my attention to the business aspect of the architecture practice, such as bookkeeping, budgeting, marketing hiring, and management of staff. I try to follow up with ongoing work in each department trying to find out the new requests and understand the priorities to start with.
12:00 pm: I take a quick lunch break before the employees start taking their lunch at 1 pm, and come back to the office after they left, I love that moment when everybody is out in order to clear my head and reset my creative juices and think about solutions of which I became aware in the morning.
2:00 pm: Start taking action and put in place the strategies to follow up for the rest of the day, and advise the team to make sure that the project is going according to the client's expectations.

3:00 pm: It's usually the right time for client meetings to discuss project objectives, but it can be also a good time for external meetings like with suppliers, candidates, and consultants... and internal meetings like with the management, accounting...
5:00 pm: As the day draws to a close, I usually review any designs the team has drafted throughout the day and make any necessary changes to be ready for submission. I may also spend some time preparing for upcoming projects in the coming days.
6:00 pm: Back home I like to spend my evenings doing something completely different and unrelated to my field of work, like doing exercise, reading a book, or watching a movie. This helps me unwind and relax so that I'm ready to work again the next day.
7:00 pm: I go for dinner and enjoy a glass of wine. Taking a break from my usual routine often helps to spark new ideas and gives me the motivation I need to keep going.
9:00 pm: Back home I catch up with my partners and each one will give a brief about his day, will try to understand together if the day was successful and what it can be done to improve our work and found the right solution for each problem.
10:00 pm: Right before bed, I will take a few moments to reflect on the day and do some light meditation, spending some time writing, researching, and coming up with new ideas, trying to get inspiration and positive energy to start the next day in a good way.
12:00 am: Finally I sleep and take a good night's rest before starting the cycle all over again.
