A Day in the Life (Epi 4.)

Hi, fabulous followers!

It's been a wild, fun-filled week in the Myers household! My son turned 2 over the weekend (time flies when you're chasing a toddler!), and my husband turned... well, let’s just say he’s aging like a fine wine. ?? My eldest daughter kicked off her first full week of kindergarten like a pro, while our middle daughter has taken it upon herself to become mommy's little helper. And by "helper," I mean she's mostly adding things to my to-do list, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? We’ve been living it up with trips to amusement parks, poolside birthday parties, and celebrating the man who’s been my partner in life for the last decade.

One major perk of being a contractor/freelancer? No approval process for time off! Who needs PTO when you can unplug entirely without the dread of "urgent escalations" from clients? I mean, PTO is nice and all, but there’s nothing like checking out of work and knowing everything is under control... unless your kids are involved, in which case, chaos is inevitable.

Speaking of excitement... my business partner and I are launching Rocket to Retail this week! ?? If you haven’t checked us out yet, find us on LinkedIn, Instagram, X (are we still calling it that? I'm beyond thrilled to be teaming up with Deborah Ginsburg, MBA —a powerhouse in the business world who’s got the brains, the heart, and most importantly, the wit to match. We’re rolling out a 4-hour intensive training program for those who want to launch fast and furious, and a more chill, 4-week program for those dipping their toes in as a side hustle. Whatever your pace, we’ve got a plan to make you a product-launching rockstar in no time!

Over at Vicar Creative, the team is absolutely crushing it! We’re about to sign our second client, and there are more lining up. Digital marketing is king, but video content? That’s the crown jewel! ?? My team is so talented and versatile that sometimes even I lose track of all the creative magic they can pull off. I’m beyond excited to be working with Leo Napper , our visionary founder, and Matti McMillen , our stellar brand manager.
