What does it mean to be an EduBridger?

An EduBridger knows that he/she makes a difference! We are a diverse group of more than 500 individuals who bring unique talents and perspectives to our jobs. At EduBridge, we are driven by shared standards of excellence, guided by the same integrity and motivated by a common ambition to improve lives. Every EduBridger has demonstrated a wide range of skills among themselves and are able to work together in such an organized manner. As individuals, we are surrounded by smart, driven people who provide the best environment for learning that I've ever experienced. I don't mean through business talks and formal meetings; I mean through working with awesome colleagues -- even the non-famous ones. I can tell you that almost always we have an interesting story to share, so catch up with us, whenever you’d like.

What does it mean to be a Trainer at EduBridge?

‘Gu’ means Guhya or darkness and ‘Ru’ means Remover or Alleviator. The one who removes our ignorance and makes our life happy, comfortable, enlightened and blessed is our Guru or Guide. The Guru-Disciple tradition is a unique feature of our nation and culture. The Guru is the one who helps us to take out the ignorance/disorder from our life and teaches us how to live a blissful life. Anybody and anything - from a friend, relative, teacher, trainer, professor, boss, good book, a cd, religious n spiritual masters etc..can be our Guru.

At EduBridge, the Trainers are the Gurus!.

Trainers, you are arguably the most important game changers/ change makers of our society. Everyone knows that today’s youth will become tomorrow’s leaders and you – our Trainers, have the access to train the youth when education has done its job, half-way.

You have the ability to shape opinions and help form ideas about society, life and personal goals. You expand the learners’ limits and push their creativity. Training is a tough job, but it is one where you can make the most impact in another person’s life.

You show so much compassion for your learners, understanding of their personal lives and appreciation for their goals and achievements. You are the role models for the learners to be positive, always try harder and reach for the stars.

When we all help one another, everybody wins. This is the motto of our trainers – our Gurus at EduBridge.

What does People Management mean to us, EduBridgers?

Empower and Engage – Every time and everywhere. We know that no matter how brilliant our mind or strategy, if we’re playing a solo game, we’ll always lose out to a team. So, we’re a big believer in lessons learned. Constantly with the team we go over, Why? Why? Why? As we believe that the only bad mistake is a mistake we didn’t learn from. We tell our teams – “Work for someone who believes in you because when they believe in you, they’ll invest in you.” Our people are our strength!

What does Ethics mean to us, EduBridgers?

Doing and being that which we feel, believe or know to be right and good. Ethics is doing what you said you were going to do when you said you would do it and in a way that is respectful to all stakeholders. Do the right thing, at the right time, with the right spirit to our customers and clients every time. Ethics means doing what’s right even when no one else is looking and holding yourself accountable to your colleagues, your organization and most importantly your principles.

What does Commitment mean to us, EduBridgers?

To us, it means sticking with it. It means not giving up even if it gets tough. It means doing that thing regardless of the reasons that tell you not to. Commitment is courage to change. Commitment speaks ‘YES’ over and over. There is no room for ‘NO’. Commitment is loyalty. Commitment is reliability. Commitment is devotedness. Commitment is not quitting when it’s getting boring, challenging or discouraging. Commitment does not equal success to us but it does equal promise - A promise that we make to ourselves to change and challenge ourselves.

What does Adherence mean to us, EduBridgers?

Adherence to Standards. Policies, Regulations, Standards, Transparency & Compliance — These are necessary evils that help us run our business smoothly.

So often people are working hard at the wrong thing. Working on the right thing is probably more important than working hard. The SOPs define for us what is right to the Company.

Adherence is something we’ve been doing since we were born, we learnt to wake up in the morning, do our morning rituals, have breakfast, study, go to school have lunch etc. It’s just that none of these were written in a manual but they were our standard operating procedures. Similarly, we have SOPs at EduBridge that tell us how to work every day. We just adhere to it!

My message to those who aspire to join EduBridge and become an EduBridger, someday! : You can focus on just your team or the entire organization.

You will get great opportunities, you will create a meaningful impact and you will be contributing to the good of society, no matter which role you are at with EduBridge.

Our culture is friendly and intense, but if push comes to shove, we’ll settle for intense, because it is for the greater good. If something goes wrong, don't dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer. Remember, there are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.
