Day in the Life of a Cyber & Information Security Consultant

Life at CyberScale is anything but routine—each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference for our clients.?

The day usually starts with a quick catch-up on emails, responding to client and colleague queries. A team meeting often follows, where we exchange updates on ongoing and upcoming projects. These meetings aren’t without their quirks—occasional surprise appearances by my cat add a bit of levity to the discussions!?

Next, I dive into our online cyber awareness training platform. Here, I track the progress of enrolled clients, resolve user issues, and ensure the training content stays ahead of the latest cyber threats.?

The rest of the day is shaped by the specific needs of our clients. This might involve crafting bespoke Information Security policies, developing engaging content for cyber awareness sessions, orchestrating desktop exercises for incident response planning, or writing thought-provoking blogs for the CyberScale website.?

Of course, no day is complete without lunch—my time to refuel and stay updated on the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape.?

As the day winds down, I review my progress against the day’s goals and outline priorities for tomorrow, ensuring a smooth workflow.?

My role at CyberScale is dynamic and fulfilling, combining technical skills, strategic problem-solving, and creative thinking. It’s all about helping our clients build stronger, more resilient cybersecurity defenses.
