The day I QUIT living life by DEFAULT

The great John Rohn once said:

"A life best lived is a life by design. Not by accident, and not by just walking through the day careening from wall to wall and managing to survive. That's okay. But if you can start giving your life dimensions and design and colour and objectives and purpose, the results can be staggering."

Just to give you a bit of background on me and my career to date - I came out of school fresh at 16, I decided it was time to support my Mum financially and get a job so I decided a Modern Apprenticeship was the best route forward.

I looked through the jobs section of the newspaper... yes it was that long ago! I looked for well-paid jobs and found that people in the Information Technology sector were certainly in that category and it seemed like a sensible choice in 1998 as the office place was evolving at that time.

I landed my first job as an Office Administrator with Junior ServiceDesk responsibilities with an IT Consultancy company, I was attracted to the fact that I would learn all the skills in-house and be able to apply them to my career. This set the foundation of my career for the next 16 years, working through various companies, I managed to develop my skills and work my way up the career ladder to a very senior managerial position within the financial services sector. I was well ahead of most of my peers in terms of what age I managed to reach such a career level and I had a decent salary with all the usual benefits attached.

I felt fortunate that I was able to accelerate my career at a young age and I loved helping people progress in their too. However, something HUGE was missing from my life. In my final position, I lived 3 weeks out of 4 in a hotel and I'd not long got married to my beautiful Wife Lara. Our time together was limited and it upset me so much leaving her on Sunday, it made me depressed and start to question "is this really all life had to offer". I had all material things I wanted such as my dream sports car, nice home, designer clothes, luxury holidays but in all honesty I was miserable.

In October 2016 everything changed. My Wife first introduced me to the concept of Network Marketing back in May 2014 where I was fortunate enough to place 3rd in the World Fitness Championships Body Building competition and I started to receive a lot of attention through my social media platforms. I said to her "it's not for me however, you have my full support" and that was me politely saying no!

I confess, I actually said, "Are you not doing all the work so that someone at the top earns all the money?" She then turned to me and said the painful words "What, like your job" Ouch!!

She then created a video that went viral with over 1.3 million views and was shared by the legendary Eric Worre

In 2016, I heard that Isagenix was coming to the UK in 2017 and I decided to take a look. I analysed their compensation plan, the company history, the products and their culture and I was blown away. We just got a feeling that we had found what we were looking for finally.

We decided to fly over to the US and pick up a 30-day fat burning system and try it for ourselves to be absolutely certain. Within 30 days I was in shock with what I experience, 3 inches lost around the waist and 2 inches gained around the chest and back... That was enough for me to say "Screw it, let's do it". I quit my job and decided I was ALL IN on making this a success.

Fast forward to today...

Sat here in Greece reflecting on the fact the last year.

We decided in January 2017 to fly out to Texas, San Antonio to check out this incredible company we knew was set to launch in the UK. On this trip, we experienced the first of many memories I will never forget, our close Friend Bailey proposing to Liz at the top of the Towers of America ????... Of course, she said 'Yes' and so do we to the possibility we had with this great company.

Today we celebrate the official one year anniversary of our UK Market launch and wow... What a year!!

In August 2017 we won our first IsaRally all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas and Arizona and got to spend some quality time with our good friends Josh and Lauren and experience some incredible memories like seeing Tony Robbins at our annual celebration conference.

In October 2017 we won our second IsaRally to Iceland -A bit of a change in climate! Alongside with our good friends we've made within the Isagenix community experience some life-changing moments together such as snow buggies through the mountains, the blue lagoon and watching the Northern Lights.

Next IsaRally incentive is to win a trip to Nashville and we are looking good for winning that all-inclusive trip in August. We actually find out whilst out in Santorini with all our good friends.

Always believe, never waiver and don't listen to anyone but yourself. It's YOUR dream and you deserve to live it. All this was possible by simply applying our passion for helping people lead a healthier lifestyle and showing them how they can too leverage this vehicle to simply just eat for free, create an additional income or duplicate our success by going ALL IN.

Live life by DESIGN, never by DEFAULT. Just remember, at any moment you can change the course of your life, don't settle for average!
