The Day After Thanks-Giving for Hostages, Prisoners & Truce?
50 Israeli hostages (women and children)
150 Palestinians prisoners (women and teenagers, humanitarian aid)
4 Day Pause (truce can be potentially extended by a day for every 10 additional hostages released)?
November 24, 2023, could be? welcoming day for family members in Israel and Palestine.?
Hostages Treated
It will be interesting to hear from the Israeli hostages on how they were treated during the past five weeks? Recall the release of an elderly Israeli women held hostage for 16 days in Gaza, 'At the precise moment of her deliverance from a hellish ordeal Yocheved Lifshitz paused and turned to grip the hand of one of the masked Hamas militants who had kept her captive. “Shalom,” ... The handshake and the Hebrew word for peace were a remarkable gesture by the 85-year-old Israeli who later spoke of brutality and mercy during her 16 days as a hostage in Gaza.'? Israeli hostage, 85, shown shaking hands with Hamas captor after release??
[The humane treatment of prisoners, as referenced in religious doctrine, aligned to Third Geneva Convention.? GCIII Commentary: an Islamic perspective on the treatment of prisoners of war - Humanitarian Law & Policy Blog .... The important follow up question is, why brutally target innocent civilians on Oct 7, when you (Hamas) treat the captured civilian hostages with mercy? Where is the religious reference?]
Viewing Bombed Gaza
The truce will allow (?) journalists/press and authorized others? to view the aftermath of the bombings/devastation in Gaza, but will it inflame passions and be used by war mongers to continue the path of conflict? Will the devastation images send a message to Hamas on what's ahead with more bombing or be used by Hamas for recruiting and funding??
Will some survivors be found under the buried rubble by way of a miracle? The miracle would be about hope, and hope for Palestinian self determination Israel security.?
During the truce, will some Palestinians make efforts to travel north towards their homes/residences? Will they be confronted and warned by soldiers? What do they seek after five plus weeks of bombing? Die in dignity rather than live in misery?
Exchange Strengthen Hamas?
Will the exchange and truce strengthen Hamas in the eyes of Palestinians (Gaza and West Bank)? Unlikely, as the Palestinian view of Hamas was/is not in high regard, but self silencing fear.?
'...surveys taken before the war showed that most Gazans had a poor opinion of how Hamas handled things they valued the most: access to food, education, healthcare, living conditions, and jobs...surveys, conducted by Arab Barometer, a non-partisan network of U.S.-based researchers working with local partners across the West Bank and Gaza, revealed that the majority of Gazans ? 68% ? believed that they had no way to safely participate in peaceful protests against Hamas' rule...They were also more likely to blame Hamas leadership than Israel for material shortages in their lives despite a nearly two-decade blockade from Israel and Egypt that has affected every aspect of life for Palestinians in Gaza ? from where they can live and study, to where they can travel and what health care they can access...' https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/israel-hamas/2023/11/21/gaza-hamas-palestinians-views-government-israel-war/71589840007/?
[It should be noted Hamas has called for more attacks against the IDF in the occupied west bank, but that has not materialized, hence, their sphere of influence in territory, governed by Palestinian Authority, appears to be minimal.]???
The Arab world should take cue from the will of the Palestinian people...

Hostages Returned?
We all hope the hostages and prisoners are reunited with their families.
Could the hostage family group, with return of the remaining family members, provide a lift in PM Netanyahu low poll rating, diffuse calls for his resignation, make the Israeli population remember less Oct 7 happening on his watch???
What happens after all the hostages are returned? How will Netanyahu eliminate the Hamas ideology, more military bombings (a tool) or suggest a two state solution, which means going against his right wing administration, including his security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich.?
But a two state solution could reduce Iran's influence in the region, which has already started within the country.?
''The fundamentalist leadership in Tehran is also acutely aware of the fact that the Iranian people do not support the regime's massive spending on proxy wars and entities like Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Houthis, the Iraqi militias and Hezbollah. With a collapsing economy and widespread poverty, the recent nationwide uprising in Iran was marked by protesters chanting slogans decrying financial aid to groups like Hamas, highlighting the deep gulf between the mullahs' regime and the public it is supposed to serve." Iran’s 'axis of resistance' to Israel begins to crack - UPI.com??
The Hamas Oct 7th massacre could also have set in motion a regime change in Iran in due time.
Post Truce/Release of Hostages
-Hamas leadership is terminated, is the ideology? terminated?
-How will the settler issue be addressed in the occupied west bank??Can the settlers be moved to Israel? Will it cause violence?
-Will the average Palestinian speak upon against Hamas, ie votes, when there is viable option for a ruling government? Yes.
-The government in waiting is a rehabilitated Palestinian Authority, acceptable by Israel?and US, UK, EU.?
-In the interim, how will Gaza/West Bank be governed and by whom? An Arab led coalition within the guidelines of the UN.
-Paying for the rebuilding of Gaza, a Marshall Plan for Palestine, https://www.britannica.com/event/Marshall-Plan
There seems to be a flickering light at the end of the tunnel for a two state solution led by a court of public opinion,? which votes...?

1 年WHY IS THE WHOLE WORLD (CHRISTIAN) FORCED TO LEARN JEWISH HISTORY, ACCORDING TO THE VERSION OF THE JEWS THEMSELVES? I HAVE HEARD THE BIBLE IS THE BEST SELLING BOOK IN THE WORLD. HOW MUCH IS THERE ANY TRUTH IN THE HEBREW EPIC? HISTORIANS HAVE FOUND AND SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED ancient library materials from Babylon and Nineveh. THESE CLAY TABLET INFORMATION IS A DIFFERENT HISTORY OF THE ANCIENT WORLD. WHO IS SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION IN THE WORLD TODAY? What is misleading Christians around the world? 1 年Palaestina - The name comes from the name of the Philistine nation, which in the 13th century BC. inhabited the southeastern coast of the Mediterranean. The first such name for this region is found in the texts of Herodotus (5th century BC). During the Roman Empire, at the beginning of our era, it is the official designation of the region in documents and maps. The State of Israel was founded on May 14, 1948. How can the state of Israel be established in the already existing state of Palestine (mentioned already from the 13th century BC)? Purchases made by Jews and others in 1948 and earlier - The purchase of real estate in a country does not give the right to create a new country in an existing country. Because the acquisition of property takes place according to the provisions set forth in the legislation of an existing state (Palestine) at the time of its acquisition.
If the wider Palestinian people could remove themselves from under the boot of hamas there could be real hope for true peace in the region … but so long as Hamas hold sway, they will continue to bully the local population into submission and continue their openly stated genocidal goals .
