Day 8 of running 55 miles in October to save Jo’s marbles (for @Alzheimer's Research UK) Progress: No change 24/55 miles.
Jo Leckie ?? (Assoc CIPD, Cert CIH)
CEO and founder of Big Picture Training | Top 20 CX influencer | Accredited customer service training | Learning design | Social housing/not for profit sector | Drinking tea and training folk Worldwide ??
Rain stopped play so no running for Jo today. She's currently working some strange hours, with meetings and training at night in Australia (she's in the UK) and meetings and training during the day in the UK. We like to keep her working 24/7. It's good for the black bags under her eyes. ????
This means that she wasn't at Big Picture Training HQ today, preferring to work at home where she can "nana nap" at will. This also means she was unable to use the treadmill in the office gym. ????
Her colleague Sian Humphreys , kindly pointed out that if Jo didn't run today, she would have to run further tomorrow. "Run Forest, Run!". For a brief moment, Jo seriously considered running round the sofa. Thankfully she realised that delirium was setting in and went for a lie down. ??
Stay tuned for tomorrow, where Jo may once again find that rain stops play. Never fear, she's installed her old DVD player so that she can jog along to a 2014 edition of a Davina Mccall workout.
