Today's reading is titled; Salesmanship.
The ability to sell is one of the most important skills you`ll ever possess. Salesmanship is a skill that I mean anyone, and I really and truly mean anyone can learn.
It is the secret to getting practically whatever you want in life. Buckets full of money. The awe and respect of the people who doubted you. A new home. an adoring spouse.
It all becomes yours with the powerful, yet simple secrets of master salesmanship. You don't need a big ego or to be loud and spontaneous. Introverts can be as successful at selling as extroverts. Because the ability to sell is a simple skill that anyone can learn.
For most people, sales is a dirty word.
People don't like being sold to. It makes us uncomfortable.
But the reality is that at some point in your life if you want to achieve any humble levels of success you are going to have to be able to sell yourself to someone.
Success = Sales.
And whether you`re selling used cars or yourself to a prospective spouse you need to know what you`re doing. First off you need to know what you`re selling. Whether it is a product, a service, or yourself.
You need to have a fundamental understanding of its uses. Solutions. Strengths. Weaknesses, and limitations.
Then you need to be an expert on whom you`re selling to.
This is where most people fall off the wagon.
Whom are you selling to?
What are their biggest problems and needs?
What are their greatest heart's desires?
You can discover all these things and more with a little bit of research. When you know your customer or client better than yourself.
You need to build a trusting relationship with that person. Help them relate to you, but establish your authority. You need to earn a person's trust so that they like you enough to buy from you.
Then you need to make sure that they understand what a huge and terrible problem they really have on their hands. Make sure that they know your product or your service can solve that pain.
Then you need to present yourself, your product, or your service in such a way that your solution to their problem becomes their only logical way to solve their problem.
And then you have to guarantee yourself. Your product or your service, so that they have basically no risk in trusting you.
And you need to ask them for their money, commitment, or whatever action you want to get from this process.
I am baffled by people who have a product. Set up a website, and simply list the features of their product or services.

And then they wait for the money to start rolling in. That`s not how reality works. There is a system you need to follow to sell to a human being.
That`s it. The fundamentals.
