Day 6: Giving a prized possession
19 days of ideas and the occasional brilliant surprise. Today - something money can't buy (at the moment)

Day 6: Giving a prized possession

Steven Bartlett has 'dropped' these conversation cards a couple of times over the last 18 months and I was so determined to grab myself these prized items that I ordered two sets before they sold out.

Because we're in the season of giving, I've decided to give away one pack to the person who adds the most thought provoking question (in my opinion) to the comments below.

Here's what they look like:

These cards are like gold (Frankincense and Myrrh) dust - can you see what I did there :)

And here's what is said about them:

"A pack of 51 cards that consist of thought-provoking questions sure to inspire meaningful conversations in any setting.

Each question is derived from the tradition on The Diary of a CEO podcast where each guest answers a question the previous guest has written for them completely anonymously.

The questions on these cards have been written by people who have defined culture, achieved greatness and created stories worth studying?&?are designed to stimulate raw, honest and unfiltered conversation like you’ve never known before.

You can also scan the QR code on the back to watch the guests’ answer from the very episode it was asked.

They're designed to be used however you please. Whether as solo?journalling prompts to get to know yourself better, with friends or?family?at a dinner party, on a date night, or even with strangers - the possibilities are endless."

So pop your best question in the chat and I'll be sending these crackers over to you!

Each day, until the 24th December I will share something small with you. The 'something small' will be related to Employee Experience. The 'something small' might be something to think about, something you might use with your team, on yourself or you might share the idea with someone else you know. One small idea will be shared every day with one collective purpose; to make the experience of work better.

Ho Ho Ho

Happy days. The winner has been messaged. Thank you all for your contributions.

Lovely challenge, Sandra Thompson! I love to facilitate people in focusing on their best core qualities. My question is "what is written on the label of the jar you are in?".

What a great gift to pay forward! ???? I'm currently loving challenging the narrative with something along the lines of "if you were to learn the lesson through joy, not pain, what would be different"?

My favourite question at the moment is “so what?”. I’m in the discovery phase of my new role and I find that people love giving me loads of data but without giving me the headlines or impact of what they’re telling me. Also great for coaching team members to deliver their message with impact. I’m not quite as blunt as that with it!

What a lovely thing to be doing Sandra. ?? One question, now thats tricky. How about ... What do you notice about yourself when you are at your best?
