Day 6 of 24: Starting fresh. #TinasObservations

Today was a gorgeous day. It actually felt like one the real first days of Spring, at least for me. It was the first weekend that we really didn't have much to do in terms of running around from here and there.

We were able to focus on things we needed to do around our house. That meant planting and mulching. We usually rely on our landscaper to do this, but this year we wanted to start fresh and do it by ourselves.

Going to the home improvement store was fun: we came out with 30 bags of mulch, 10 bags of dirt, some vegetables, herbs, and flower.

Lesson: It's very fulfilling to start fresh in the spring because you can rake away the remnants of fall and winter.
