Day 50 of 1095 in Building ImP-Act: May We Be Worthy of Them

Day 50 of 1095 in Building ImP-Act: May We Be Worthy of Them

The day began with a morning routine: meditation, treatment, workout, and a process of reliving. I felt the heaviness that this day carries - the eve of Memorial Day overshadowed by war.

We, the members of the commune, had a conversation and talked about the pain, the grief, and the difficulty of coming to terms with the fact that this year's Memorial Day is accompanied by our own personal loss - our dear and beloved friend, Major Sagi Golan, who was a pure heart and a man of giving and fell in the battle of Ba'ari on October 7th.

The truth? It's hard for me to cry. I'm overwhelmed today; I've cried a lot and hugged bereaved mothers and bereaved partners.

And tomorrow? Tomorrow we will visit the graves and remember that everything we do in our lives - needs to be meaningful, that we need to be good, and that we need to follow our gut and heart.

This is what Sagai and all our fallen have commanded us.

And may we only be worthy of them.

These are indeed a few difficult days that are not composed of processes and startup building, but they are shaping, they are very important, and one needs to pause during them to remember, to ache, to remind us of the significance of the things we do.

These are very complex days for me, and alongside that, they sharpen for me how important it is to establish ImP-Act in order to make our world a little bit better.
