Welcome to Day 5 of my #365DaysOfDataScience journey! ??
Today, we’re diving into Python programming! ?? This is the backbone of our Data Science journey, and to be honest, I’m still getting comfortable with it myself – so we’ll be learning together.
Python is the most popular language in Data Science for a reason. Its simplicity and versatility make it the perfect tool for analyzing data and building models, which we’ll explore in the future.
?? What We’re Learning Today:
1. Python Basics: Variables, data types, loops, and functions.
2. Why Python? How Python’s power and simplicity make it a go-to for Data Scientists.
?? Learning Resources:
- Read: Chapter 1 of Python for Data Analysis by Wes McKinney ??.
- Complete: Python fundamentals exercises on Kaggle or HackerRank (let’s practice together!) ??.
?? Today’s Task:
Let’s start coding! Write Python code to solve basic problems like:
领英推荐
- Calculating the average of a list of numbers.
- Reversing a string.
I’ll also work through these, so feel free to share your solutions in the comments. Let’s learn from each other as we build a solid foundation in Python. ??
I’m sure we’ll face some challenges together – but that’s part of the fun! ?? Keep pushing forward, and let’s keep growing!
