Day 48 of 1,095 in Building ImP-Act: Preparing for Challenging Days in the Shadow of War

The day started with a morning routine: meditation, a fresh dose of vitality, and a coaching session. Then, I met with a colleague-friend to discuss branding, positioning, goals, and more. These conversations are always enlightening and essential for moving forward strategically.

Later, I fine-tuned plans with Dudi about launching our live podcast soon, focusing on the business models and panels we want to build. It was an educational and important discussion.

And then, the day was cut short. War, military reserves, and everything connected to the difficult days of remembering friends who were killed—along with my responsibilities as an officer—came rushing in.

Various thoughts and memories surfaced, including my friend Major Sagi Golan, who fell near Bari. It reminded me why I left everything behind to build a startup. It reminded me why we need to follow our gut and heart.

Now, as I prepare texts for a memorial ceremony, I'm left with questions and reflections: What would have happened if things were different? How, amidst all the darkness and bereavement, does one choose content for such a ceremony? Which grave and cemetery do we visit? Many more questions arise.

Today, I will take a breath and meditate. I'll try to sleep, embracing the pain and sorrow. Life intertwines with entrepreneurship, each nourishing the other.

If only there could be less darkness, and no mother would have to bury her son again. If only the captives could return soon. If only.

Eliav.
