Day 4: Promotions

Day 4: Promotions

Let’s keep up the momentum with Day 4 of Build a Better Trade Show Image Week!

Each day, we’ve covered a different element of #YourExhibitSuccess, and today’s focus is on ways to promote your exhibit both before and during the show.

Exhibiting without doing promotions means you’re just hoping attendees will find you. And if you plan on giving something away to draw them into your booth, you need to have a strategy for that, too.

Attendee Promotion is Everyone’s Job

I’ll never forget how I learned the importance of attendee promotions as a newbie exhibitor at one particular show.

What did I do differently? Listen to this episode of Trade Show Insights to find out. (Or you can read it on the blog.)

Are You Making These Promotions Mistakes?

Before we delve into some of the most common mistakes exhibitors make when it comes to promotions, perhaps the biggest one of all is the fact that so many neglect to do anything at all to promote! They somehow think that attendees will just magically show up at their booth, or perhaps that attendees are already aware of — and eager to meet — them.

Unfortunately those exhibitors are only fooling themselves. Listen to this episode and make sure you’re avoiding their mistakes. (Or click here to read it on the blog.)

6 Keys to Becoming More Attractive (Your Booth, That Is)

Exhibitors often believe it’s the trade show organizer’s job to generate traffic, but that’s not true.

The show organizer’s focus is on bringing attendees to the event, but it’s up to you to draw them into your own booth space. One great way to do that is by designing an engaging booth attraction.

Attendees are on sensory overload, with colorful banners and LED walls at every turn. But all this visual stimulation becomes a blur and the exhibits all begin to look the same. In order to stand out, you must take a different approach and become irresistibly engaging to attendees.

7 Creative Giveaways Attendees Will Love

Ever feel like attendees at a trade show are like kids out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood? Do you wonder if the giveaways in your booth are making a difference, or are people just out for the freebies??

How much thought have you put into the selection of those items??Unfortunately, many exhibitors don’t appear to have thought very?hard and a lot of them are just feeding the “gimme-gimme” mentality.

Discover ways to stand out with your giveaways in this episode (or read it on the blog):
