DAY 31: Madrels & Crafting Legacy: A Journey Through Time in Mechanical Fabrication

A mandrel is a versatile tool that can be tapered, flanged, or threaded, and is used to shape, press, stretch, or forge material. It can also be a metal bar that acts as a core for shaping material through casting, molding, forging, bending, or any other method.

In my everyday routine i have to deal with different kind of mandrels, the major fight i find is that it is really difficult to get the machining done on mandarels , it dosent matter that it is small or big in size the precission is too difficult to get, only crafted hands over the years can make them to a limit.

If anyone is dealing with mandrels would love to have a chat...
