DAY 30 – PURSUE EXCELLENCE

Philippians 1:10

“That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.”

There is a way God wants you to think, and it is not the way you may think. There is a way God wants you to talk, and it may not be what everyone calls trendy. And certainly, there is a lifestyle God expects you to live, and it is not in any way consistent with the standard of this world. The Bible says that His ways are not our ways, remember? (Isa. 55:9)

Even more, if God were your school teacher or coach, how would He access your performance on the job or in His class? What would be His standard for scoring you? Certainly, He would measure your performance or mark your scripts based on His Word.

Hence, in other to access and enjoy God’s rewards, you ought to set your mind on one thing; keeping the Word of God and aspiring towards consistency in doing His Will. This is how to be excellent, and it should be your pursuit today and throughout the year as you ask the Holy Spirit to help you attend to God’s Word with all of your heart. Amen.

The largest religion is Hindu with 29% unreached with the Gospel of Christ. Ministry to young people is met with encouraging openness. While they are less bound by ethnic loyalties, many are held back from open commitment by family pressures. Violent crime, sexual immorality and use of Intravenous drugs has increased.

Y: We are praying for wisdom upon Church leaders to reach out to the people in Mauritius in such a way as to draw them to Christ.
