Day 30

Day 30

“In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable.” ―?Dwight D. Eisenhower

I love 30-60-90 day plans. In fact, I even wrote about 90-day goalsetting in this LinkedIn post from 2015 (that’s what we call old school)!

Today is my 30th day at LEAD Above . As you might guess, I had a plan of what needed to be done to have an impact quickly. Did I keep to that plan? Did I accomplish all of my initial objectives?

Not even close. But boy, did i accomplish a lot.

Plans are crucial. They act as a compass, pointing us in the right direction at the outset of a journey. The path directly ahead may seem straightforward, but as we progress, it twists and turns towards our destination. The compass may indicate a different direction, and that's perfectly fine.

I’ve had to the opportunity to sit down with multiple CEO's and sales leaders in my first 30 days. I have shared my experiences with dozens of sales reps at multiple companies, both in-person and virtually.

Here's what I can report from the front lines:

  1. The tech industry is bursting with new ideas; every company is unique, and innovation is abundant.
  2. The new wave of sales reps and leaders are eager to absorb knowledge.
  3. Those open to our learning from our experiences and embrace our methodologies are achieving positive outcomes.

There's nothing more rewarding than exchanging insights with eager learners and witnessing those "light bulb" moments. Joining LEAD Above to help transform businesses has been a great decision for me.

And yes…give us a follow!
