Day 30-38
Day thirty of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Monday, the 12th. I applied to a couple of places that interested me(one being for the county of Maricopa) and watched some new videos on UX/UI which was fun! I also worked on my Grand Canyon University class and finished my paper. I took a JavaScript assessment and honestly did much better than I thought I would have which was really great!
Day thirty-one of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Tuesday, the 13th. I applied to Boeing which was very exciting! My husband is a flight instructor and I have a lot of knowledge of aircraft and regulations since I am the one that helped him study for all his tests! I covered a lot of review over React and practiced with my Pig-Latin components.
Day thirty-two of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Wednesday, the 14th. I mapped out the goals and expectations of my SchedulePro application which really helped me a lot!
Day thirty-three of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Thursday, the 15th. Today I rearranged my Schedule application, edited the "add appointment" functionality, and completed a leet code challenge. I applied to two locations where my skills fit well and that really piqued my interest. We will see what happens!
Day thirty-four of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Friday, the 16th. I further rearranged my scripts to be user instead of instructor and student. I got rid of several tables that got absorbed into the user and updated the attributes in Java to correspond with the SQL schema.
Day thirty-five of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Saturday, the 17th. I completed some JavaScript exercises on Leet and completed the delete appointment functionality. That evening I developed food poisoning after eating something sketchy!
Day thirty-six of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Sunday, the 18th. I still have food poisoning and I had to cancel my plans for the day. I just sat around watching Harry Potter and thinking about how I wish I could get out my computer and code. On a happy note: I HAVE REACHED 500+ CONNECTIONS! Thanks to every single one of you that has helped me grow in my understanding of different topics and concepts. I appreciate all of your insight and support on the LinkedIn platform!
Day thirty-seven of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Sunday the 25th. It honestly took me a good few days to get back to normal and then I had a couple of interviews (which both went extremely well) and a busy work week. Sadly, I did not complete any actual coding this past week other than some daily researching and reviewing and planning what I am going to do next.
Day thirty-eight of #100DaysOfCode
Today is Monday the 26th. I am planning on simplifying my portfolio! I have so much (too much) I want to do, that it will take forever to finish it. I am going to create a basic plan, code it, and show it to everyone! After I set it up, I can gradually add more pages and functionalities. My goal is to have something ready to put up on an instance of a server by the end of this week.
Question to everyone reading this article: have you used Rocketbook? I recently discovered it, and have fallen in love! It is such an amazing resource for being able to write things down with a pen and then having the ability to take a picture to store it electronically and automatically send it to the destination you set up. Then you get to ERASE IT from the page! It is a wonderful reusable notebook and I won't have to buy another one for a long while.
