Day 3 - Setting My Sights on the Next 12 Months: 10 Goals

I've been avoiding today's task for some reason, and it's currently 10 PM. It took me less than 5 minutes to jot down the 10 goals as per Brian Tracy's instructions in Eat That Frog. I know these goals by heart, so why did it feel so challenging to put them on paper?
I suspect the reason lies in the next steps. Goal setting and planning come naturally to me. I have SMART goals with deadlines and detailed plans of action. It's one thing to write down your goals and slap deadlines on them. The daunting part is what follows— executing said plan. That's where the fear creeps in. It shouldn't, but I'll be honest; it does.
I often tell myself:
Dreaming is my happy place. Anything is possible in the land of my imagination. But dreams, however beautiful, are not reality. And that's precisely the purpose of this 21-day challenge.
(Goodness! I have 18 more days of this - inhale, exhale)
My mind is teeming with grand ideas, and I am brimming with untapped potential. I am a radiant presence that refuses to be overlooked, but that radiance resides within a person who has an affinity for the shadows.

My father used to say, "Graveyards are the wealthiest places because they hold all the unfulfilled potential." I'm determined not to meet that fate. I don't want to be someone who "fell short of their potential."
To paraphrase Marianne Williamson, my playing small doesn't serve the world.
I am unique, with my own perspectives, experiences, and distinctive gifts. If you find value in my unique perspective and would like to support my blog, you can buy me coffee to help me continue sharing my insights with the world.
I want to ensure that I make the most of what I have. I want to contribute to the world in any way I can. The only way I want to leave this world is by giving my all, by doing everything within my power.
The purpose of this challenge is to establish habits and systems that bridge the gap between dreaming, taking action, and achieving.
And yes, it terrifies me, but it's a fear I'm willing to face.
