Day 3 of Data Analysis - Learning Journey

The very basics of Data Analytics are:

1. Data Warehousing Architecture: Refers to the design of an organization's data collection and storing framework.

Data from various sources (Operational Data Sources) comes to the Staging Area for the ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) i.e. Validation before loading into the Data Warehouse.

2. There are many advantages of Data Warehousing:

• Centralization of the data.
• Standardization of the data.
• Cleaned data.
• Better decision-making. (Crossectional reporting)

3. Data:

Qualitative data is also known as Dimensions or Categorical Data.

Whereas, Quantitative data is also called Measures or Factual data.

4. Normalization: It is a process of splitting the data to reduce redundancy. There are multiple forms of Normalization, refer https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/normal-forms-in-dbms/ for more information.

The journey has just begun. I have never written anything this consistently. Yup, 3rd day. hahaha

Jokes apart. From day 4, we will start with SQL.

It is one of the most important tools to understand data and analyze it quickly.

Writing is fun, I'll also try making video lectures along with Articles.
