DAY 24 - THE COMPLETION OF CREATION.

SCRIPTURE: Genesis 2:1

"Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array."

PRINCIPLE: God finishes what He starts.

In the kingdom, God is a God of completion. What He begins, He always brings to fulfillment.

DEVOTION

By the end of the sixth day, creation was completed, and the heavens and the earth were finished in their full array. This verse emphasizes that God is a finisher—He brings to completion everything He begins. From the vastness of the heavens to the intricacies of life on earth, God’s work was thorough and complete.

In our lives, this truth reminds us that God will complete the good work He has started in us (Philippians 1:6). Often, we may feel like we are still "in process" or that there are areas of our lives that need growth and healing. But just as God completed the creation of the universe, He will complete His work in us.

We can trust that God’s timing is perfect and that He will bring everything to fulfillment in its season. In the kingdom, we are called to rest in the assurance that God’s purposes will be accomplished, even when we can’t see the final outcome.

If you are in a season where it feels like things are unfinished or incomplete, take heart. God is not done with you yet. He is working behind the scenes, shaping and forming you according to His perfect plan. His work is thorough, and He will bring everything to completion.

PRAYER

"Lord, I thank You that You are a God of completion. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your plan for my life, knowing that You will finish what You have started in me. Strengthen my faith in seasons of waiting, and give me the assurance that You are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

WORD TO REMEMBER: Completion.

God is faithful to finish what He starts in creation and in your life.
